My heart is breaking! We had to put my fur baby Fergie down last night after she had a seizure. The emergency vet said she most likely had a brain tumor that had been there awhile, but we thought many things were just symptoms of her getting old. We are so lucky to have had her in our lives for 16 years. She brought so much love & joy to our home. It will never be the same without her!
When Fergie was 10 weeks old she had open heart surgery. She was 1.5 lbs and we decided to save her versus put her down. She had a rough start at the beginning of life, but she wound up living a very full, happy life dog life. She wasn’t fond of the car, but she loved to camp. She was most relaxed when she had me, mom & dad all in eyesight. She loved her treats at bedtime, liking bowls of ice cream & honestly any food we were eating she wanted. She became a huge beggar, but not the drooling kind (thank god) ☺️! God blessed us when she came into our lives & I know one day I will see her again. For now my grandparents are taking care of her in heaven. Along with Casey & Trooper (her siblings). I’m sure they are getting lots of Fergie kisses 😘
